Lesson 18 of 50 · In brief

The Trickle Down Effect

An administrator snaps at a division leader, who snaps at a counselor, who turns around and rushes the campers along. The children at the end of that chain did nothing wrong. Whatever attitude you hand down gets handed down again, all the way to the youngest person present. The useful move is to notice the urge when it reaches you and refuse to pass it along.

This is the short version. The full lesson, with the story behind it, is in the book.

The book has all fifty, with room to breathe.
